Though Auburn has been focused on Tulane and Kent State, Texas A&M lies in wait as the kickoff to SEC play for the Tigers.
The Tigers will travel to College Station this year to take on the Aggies. The game has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CST on CBS, announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
While the Tigers have taken down the only ranked opponent they’ve seen in Oregon and beat unranked Tulane, the Aggies have had tougher start to the season. Following a 41-7 win against Texas State to start the season, the Aggies fell to Clemson 24-10 in Week 2.
The Tigers come into the matchup winning the last two games in the series against the Aggies by scores of 28-24 and 42-27. Last year's win in Jordan-Hare was the first victory by the home team in the series since A&M joined the SEC in 2012.
