A week ago against Tulane, Marlon Davidson led Auburn with six tackles, two for a loss and three QB pressures. The performance earned him the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week.
Now a week later, he's earned the honor again after a dominant performance against Kent State.
The senior led Auburn with six tackles and 2.5 sacks, helping the Tigers secure not only the win against Kent State, but also a 3-0 record for the first time since 2014.
Davidson leads the Tigers in sacks this season with 2.5 and in tackles for a loss with 4.5. His 2.5 sacks are third-best in the SEC, and his 4.5 TFLs are second in the SEC.
The defensive lineman will look to continue terrorizing offenses as the No. 8 Tigers head to College Station, Texas, to take on No. 17 Texas A&M this Saturday at 2:30 p.m CST on CBS.
