Februarys in Auburn, Alabama, mean a number of things for members of the Tiger faithful. Basketball approaches the annual March Madness tournament, baseball is underway and gymnastics is in full swing. While there is plenty going on approaching Spring, there is still a void left unfilled: football.
Now, fans do have to wait until after labor day to get Auburn football back, but there is one day each spring where they can return to Jordan-Hare Stadium to watch Auburn play.
As announced last fall per Auburn Athletics, A-Day – Auburn’s annual intersquad scrimmage – will take place on Saturday, April 11. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. CT.
Tickets are officially on sale now, and are available at the Auburn ticket office outside of Jordan-Hare Stadium as well as online. Admission will be $5 for all fans who wish to attend.
A-Day festivities such as Tiger Walk will be announced closer to the event.
The athletics department said the game will be the beginning of a year-long celebration for Auburn’s 2010 national championship team.
