Former Auburn offensive lineman Mike Horton is reuniting with teammate Derrick Brown in Charlotte. Horton signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers on Saturday.

Out of Atlanta, Horton began his Auburn career in 2015, but did not see action and was given a redshirt. He made his collegiate debut the next season as a redshirt freshman against Clemson. He played in the next 12 games of the 2016 season.

Horton started seven games at left guard for the Tigers during his redshirt sophomore season in 2017. He missed the LSU and Arkansas game after rolling his ankle in the 44-23 victory over Ole Miss.

The following season, Horton made the switch from left guard to starting right guard where he played in all 13 of the Tigers games.

During his senior campaign in 2019, Horton returned as the starter at right guard. He made 32 starts throughout his career. He earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors following his performance in the game against Mississippi State and was put on the Reeseā€™s Senior Bowl watch list.
