Auburn and North Carolina will not be meeting in Atlanta this year as one of the marquee matchups in the 2020 Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game series.

The ACC announced their plans for fall sports on Wednesday, which includes an 11-game regular season in football. The ACC will follow this schedule, of course, "if public health guidance allows."

In the conference's release, the teams will play 10 conference games and one non-conference opponent.

All non-conference opponents have to travel to the home state of its opponent for the matchup. Non-conference opponents also have to meet the medical protocol requirements set by the ACC.

The Tigers and Tar Heels could still meet depending on what the SEC decides, but it will not be in Atlanta.
