Across the country, college football players have to weigh their options on if they should opt-out for this season or play.
In recent weeks, some high profile players have announced their decision to opt-out, including Purdue's Rondale Moore, Virginia Tech's Caleb Farley and now Auburn's Chandler Wooten has decided to opt-out.
Wooten announced via social media that he will opt out this season and redshirt over health concerns for him and his family. The senior linebacker graduated last December but still has a year of eligibility left.
Wooten has played in 30 games during his time at Auburn. He has 45 total tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in his three seasons at Auburn.
