The No. 4 ranked player in the state of Alabama is headed to the Plains as Auburn landed a commitment from 2021 4-star Dylan Brooks on Saturday.

Brooks originally committed and signed to Tennessee in December but was released from his national letter of intent on Friday.

The 6-foot-five 250-pound linebacker hails from Hadley High School in Roanoke, Alabama. In his senior year, Brooks was named first-team All-State after totaling 44 tackles and 4 sacks en route to Hadley’s Class 4A state title.

Listed as the No. 6 ranked weakside defensive end on 247Sports Composite rankings, Brooks is the Tiger’s top-rated recruit in the 2021 class.

Brooks is Auburn’s 4th in-state signee of the 2021 class and propels the Tigers to the 20th ranked recruiting class in 2021.
