Tyrone Truesdell and Grant Loy are returning to Auburn in 2021.

The pair are using the extra year of eligibility that the NCAA granted to its athletes because of the pandemic affected season.

The news was first reported by 247Sports’ Nathan King and was later confirmed to The Auburn Plainsman by a team spokesperson on Friday.

Truesdell is a defensive tackle who started for two years and totaled 22 tackles in 10 games for the Tigers in 2020.

Loy transferred to Auburn from Bowling Green in 2020 and appeared in three games as Auburn’s backup quarterback during the 2020 season.
