Auburn safety Jordyn Peters will be signing with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.

The Muscle Shoals, Alabama, native was rated as a 3-star recruit and was the No. 36 player from Alabama in the 2017 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports.

Peters appeared in all 14 games as a freshman in 2017 while playing nickelback.

He then switched positions to safety in 2018, where he played for the next two seasons.

Peters established himself as one of Auburn’s best special teams players, as he blocked four punts in his career.

He finished his career with 101 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and an interception.
