Auburn travels to No. 17 Arkansas on Saturday, looking to upset the ranked Razorbacks. Will the Tigers extend their winning streak over Arkansas to six, or will the home-team prove it belongs in the Top 25. Here is what some of The Plainsman's sports staff (plus a few guests) said about the game.

Caleb Jones, Sports Editor: Arkansas 48-44

@calebjsports

"Arkansas has been on the road for the last two games, so the Razorback fanbase should show out for a chance to beat Auburn for the first time in five years. The Razorbacks have played well at home this season and despite the losses, have two wins over ranked opponents. KJ Jefferson and the Arkansas offense could cause some trouble for the Auburn defense, which has had issues slowing quarterbacks down this season. Give me the Hogs."

Mattison Allen, Assistant Sports Editor: Arkansas 38-20

@mattcurtlynn

"The Razorbacks have a ground-pounding offense that likes to run up the scoreboard. That was seen when Arkansas played Ole Miss, losing by one. Auburn's Zackoby McClain and Smoke Monday will have to be key players to stop the routes.

On the other side, that Ole Miss game also showed the Razorbacks' lack of defense. This is where Auburn's offense is going to have to step up if it wants to win."

Henry Zimmer, Sports Reporter: Auburn 27-17

@henryzimmer

"Auburn is able to stifle Arkansas’s run game, while Auburn’s run game excels"

Nathan King, Plainsman Alum, Sports Editor (2018-20): Arkansas 34-27

@NathanKing247

"KJ Jefferson will be a big challenge, literally and figuratively, and at the end of the day, I'm going with his offense to gain the upper hand down the stretch. I'm just not sold yet on Auburn, with its current problems at offensive line and receiver, to outscore a good team on the road."

My Ly, Community Editor: Arkansas 28-17

@my_D_ly

"Arkansas has been performing much more consistently than Auburn throughout the season in my opinion. With a narrow and heartbreaking loss for Arkansas against Ole Miss last weekend, there’s probably nothing it wants more than to beat a team that had a better game head-to-head with its only other loss in the season against Georgia."

"The Tigers have yet to show a consistent ability to put up more than 20 points a game and are headed to face a score-happy Razorback offense that is headed by the No. 2 receiver in the SEC. Auburn sits as the 123rd worst red zone defense out of 130 teams in NCAA, and I don’t foresee that changing on Saturday. If Tank Bigsby can play like he did against Arkansas last year, Auburn has a chance. But unlike the LSU game, I don’t see this as a game Bo Nix can win by himself."

Jake Gonzalez, Sports Writer: Auburn 32-12

@Jake__Gonzalez

"Auburn just needs to stop the run on defense and establish the run game on offense. If it does that, it should cruise to a win over Arkansas."

Carl, No. 1 Razorback fan: Arkansas 28-26

"“I think it will be close. Since it’s at Arkansas, Arkansas has a good chance.”
