Each year The Plainsman staff awards businesses, individuals and events as being the best in their chosen category. This year The Plainsman opened up the voting to each of our social media accounts for followers to voice their winners for our annual Plainsman's Choice awards.

The results are in and we are ready to announce the winners. Today's category is culture and features the winners of the best brunch, best coffee shop, best bar, best late night food, best bar event and best first date spot.


  • Best Brunch: Lucy's
  • Best Coffee Shop: Well Red
  • Best Bar: Skybar Cafe 
  • Best Late Night Food: Waffle House 
  • Best Bar Event: Taylor Swift night
