Kickoff times, TV assignments announced for first three games of Freeze era

The kickoff times and TV assignments for the first three games of the Hugh Freeze era of Auburn football have been announced.

Auburn will open the 2023 season at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 2. The Tigers will play UMass at 2:30 p.m. CST for a national broadcast on ESPN.

In week two, the Tigers will travel across the country to Berkeley, California to take on the California Golden Bears in Auburn's first trip to the state of California since the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 6, 2014. Kickoff between the Tigers and Golden Bears is slated for 9:30 p.m. CST and will also be televised on ESPN.

Auburn returns home in week three to face in-state foe Samford. The game will kick off at 6:00 p.m. CST and will be streamed on ESPN+.

All time and television announcements for week four and beyond will occur 12 days before the respective game.
