Kickoff time, TV information announced for Auburn's game against Mississippi State

Auburn will make its first SEC Network appearance of the season on Oct. 28, as the network will televise the Tigers' game against Mississippi State at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The game marks Auburn's third 2:30 p.m. kickoff at home this season, with the Tigers going 1-1 in the first two such start times. Auburn defeated UMass but lost to Georgia in games starting at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Auburn has a 62-31-3 all-time record against Mississippi State but is just 5-5 in the last 10 meetings against the Bulldogs, including losses in the past two matchups. The 2023 meeting marks the first 2:30 p.m. kickoff in the series since 2014.

It will be a matchup of two first-year head coaches as Auburn's Hugh Freeze faces Mississippi State's Zach Arnett. Auburn has an 8-3 record at home against the Bulldogs since 2000.
