Auburn will make its first SEC Network appearance of the season on Oct. 28, as the network will televise the Tigers' game against Mississippi State at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The game marks Auburn's third 2:30 p.m. kickoff at home this season, with the Tigers going 1-1 in the first two such start times. Auburn defeated UMass but lost to Georgia in games starting at 2:30 p.m. CT.
Auburn has a 62-31-3 all-time record against Mississippi State but is just 5-5 in the last 10 meetings against the Bulldogs, including losses in the past two matchups. The 2023 meeting marks the first 2:30 p.m. kickoff in the series since 2014.
It will be a matchup of two first-year head coaches as Auburn's Hugh Freeze faces Mississippi State's Zach Arnett. Auburn has an 8-3 record at home against the Bulldogs since 2000.
