Auburn breaks AP poll drought, ranked for first time since 2021

The wait is finally over. 

Following victories over Baylor and Ball State, Auburn football finds itself ranked in the AP poll for the first time since Week 11 of the 2021 season.

Hugh Freeze and his squad jumped into the top 25 at No. 24, right in front of fellow SEC foe No. 25 Missouri. 

Taking a look ahead at the Tigers’ schedule, they are currently slated for five ranked showdowns in the 10 remaining games. The five ranked opponents are No. 6 Georgia, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 16 Texas A&M, No. 19 Alabama and No. 25 Missouri. Georgia, Alabama and Missouri will all head to Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on the Tigers.
