Auburn dropped its fourth game in a row on Tuesday, March 8, against the ninth ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Right-hander Cole Lipscomb threw 6.2 innings and allowed just two earned runs, but Auburn fell for the third game in a row.
Auburn dropped Saturday’s game to Michigan State by a score of 3-0. This is the second loss for the Tigers this weekend as they headed to Florida to play in the Cox Diamond Invitational.
Anfernee Grier collected three hits, but Auburn fell to Troy, 4-3 in extra innings.
The Auburn Tigers were able to coast to an easy win over the Alabama A&M Bulldogs for the second day in a row, this time by a score of 5-0.
Auburn defeated Alabama A&M, 15-1, with the help of Cody Nulph's two doubles and five RBI's.
Two outs on the basepaths wound up being the difference in the Tigers' third one-run loss of the season.
Camp allowed just two hits over 8 innings, and he struck out a career-high 9 batters as the Tigers shut out Southern.

Auburn rebounded strong on Wednesday night against Florida A&M after going 1-2 against Sacramento State over the weekend.
With 15 years of SEC experience under his belt, Butch Thompson is ready for the challenges that come with being a head coach.
“We had an errorless day today and the bullpen depth is what reared its head today.” said Auburn coach Butch Thompson. “Their pitcher was the difference today, not the starter that started off so good but the guy that came in right behind the starter [during] the second at bat. He went four and two-thirds [innings], and I thought he took the sting out of our swing and was the difference.”
Auburn dropped the rubber match of the three-game series against Sacramento State, 7-6 in 12 innings, Sunday, Feb. 21, and lost the opening series of the year in the process.
The Tigers took down the Sacramento State Hornets on Friday, Feb. 19, in Plainsman Park to start the 2016 season.
The Tigers, who finished fifth in the division last year, were picked to finish ahead of only Alabama in the SEC West. However, Auburn did have junior outfielder Anfernee Grier named Preseason First Team All-SEC.
With the season only eight days away, Auburn baseball hosted a fan day at Plainsman Park on Thursday, Feb. 11. The event included a facilities tour, free pizza, hot chocolate, a raffle, “Section 111” T-shirts and a speech from coach Butch Thompson.
Auburn’s famed “Section 111” will be returning to Plainsman Park this season but things will be different under new coach Butch Thompson.
Auburn Baseball took the field to conduct its first full practice of the Butch Thompson era on Friday January 28th.
