Tigers blow 9-1 lead, lose 11-9 in series finale

"The pitching is such a big piece," said head coach Butch Thompson. "That's where most of your scholarships are. That's where games are won and lost. The ability to pitch and finish would have capped off what was a pretty solid ball game we played there until right there at the end. Because it's not like we kicked the ball to give it away. They absolutely hit the ball."

Auburn soccer falls to No. 9 Clemson

“I was really proud of our team today,” Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa said. “We executed our game plan. I thought we did a great job disrupting Clemson, and we created a ton of chances. We just couldn’t find the back of the net.”

Auburn ends the season on high note with win over Miss. State

On Saturday, Auburn took care of business against Mississippi State for a 78-71 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was head coach Bruce Pearl’s 600th win as a head coach. “I’m truly grateful, Pearl said. “Humbled, blessed -- God has blessed me beyond what I deserve. But I keep score, I do. And 600 is a big number. 700 would be even better.”

Auburn secures season-best score in final meet

No. 12 Auburn produced another season-best in its season finale loss to No. 8 Arkansas, 197.425-197.125.  “I think we proved we’re a top-10 team and we can compete with anybody in the country,” Graba said. “We’re the youngest team in the country and we’ve had the toughest schedule in the country."

Tigers' bats come alive in win over Troy

Behind an eight-run outing and another strong pitching performance from Auburn’s freshman duo, the Tigers defeated Troy 8-1 on Thursday night.  “I think everyone really came together in this game,” Dowell said. “We had people off the bench come in and do their job. It’s really awesome to see all of us work together offensively.”

Auburn falls on the road to No. 8 Alabama

"I wish we would've got this dub today and then win on Saturday so we could've ended perfectly ready to go into the next season, but that's not going to happen," Williams said. "So we have to win this Saturday, and we're going to be prepared for Mississippi State."
