Auburn will be without a starting forward for Saturday night's game against Oklahoma State.
Cinmeon Bowers has been suspended by Bruce Pearl for "conduct detrimental to the team."
"Cim has done a lot of very positive things on the court and is the classroom over the last two seasons," Pearl said. "He is on track to graduate and leave Auburn having helped us rebuild our program. However, his recent conduct has warranted this discipline."
This is not the first discipline Bowers has faced at Auburn.
He was suspended for Auburn's game against Kentucky in last season's SEC Tournament while the program investigated potential NCAA violations.
Bowers is averaging 10.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season and ranks third in the SEC in double-doubles.
Auburn faces Oklahoma State in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
