Auburn stunned by LSU blocking and serving game

The Auburn volleyball team fell 3-0 (16-25, 22-25, 20-25) to LSU at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers were stunned by LSU's blocking and serving game in their final road match of the season. LSU finished with five service aces and nine team blocks.

Auburn was outhit .252-.097 in the three-set match. LSU recorded more kills (42-39), assists (41-37), digs (66-55) and blocks (9-4) than Auburn.

Sophomore Stephanie Campbell led the way for the Tigers with 10 kills, four digs and two blocks, while freshman Courtney Crable posted nine kills and seven digs.

Alexa Filley had 30 assists and 10 digs. The freshman setter has 10 double-doubles in SEC play this season. Junior Alyssa Ivey recorded 17 digs for the defense.

The Tigers' last two matches of the regular season will be at Auburn Arena against Kentucky and Mississippi State.
