The Auburn volleyball team fell 3-0 (14-25, 21-25, 10-25) to No. 7 Florida at the O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida Wednesday.
Auburn (11-15, 3-10 SEC) struggled against a strong offensive attack as the Gators (20-3, 14-0 SEC) outhit the Tigers .522 to .133.
Freshman setter Alexa Filley's 13 assists in the match means that she only needs 36 more for first place in the Auburn single-season record book.
Freshman Courtney Crable posted a team-high six kills on 16 swings, while sophomore Breanna Barksdale and Filley had five apiece. Filley hit .714 on seven attempts.
Errors continued to be an issue for the Tigers. They had 13 in the loss, while the Gators committed 10 with five service aces.
The Gators' defense held the Tigers to a season-low 24 kills and 21 assists.
The Tigers' have another SEC matchup on the road Sunday as they travel to Columbia, South Carolina to face the Gamecocks at 12:30 p.m.
