After leading by three at halftime, the Auburn women's basketball team was outscored by 13 in the second half to fall on the road against the Missouri Tigers on Sunday, Feb. 8.
Auburn extended its lead to 31-23 early in the second half, but was outscored by Missouri 36-18 the rest of the game.
Junior Tra'Cee Tanner scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to notch her fifth double-double of the year, and sophomore Brandy Montgomery added 10 points of her own, but Auburn couldn't stop Missouri's Maddie Stock, who poured in 23 points to overpower the visiting Tigers.
The visiting Tigers shot poorly, converting only 30.2% of their shots, and they shot at a 19 percent clip from three, making only four of their 21 attempts from outside.
With the loss, Auburn falls to 9-15 on the season overall, and remains winless in the SEC.
