Each year, the NCAA releases its Academic Progress Report for the prior school year. The 2013-14 school year revealed each Auburn athletics program rests in good standing, some with perfect scores.
According to AL.com, 10 Auburn athletic programs finished with a single-year score of 1,000, a perfect boost for the program that posted the University’s lowest score in 2011-12 (896) and 2012-13 (936). Men’s basketball was joined at the top by women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, women's golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball and men's and women's tennis.
The football team finished with a single-year score of 968 and the No. 8 ranking in the SEC for academics. Vanderbilt (983) leads the conference followed by Alabama (978), Missouri (976), South Carolina (975), Texas A&M (974), Florida (971) and Mississippi State (971).
The APR benchmark for eligibility is 930, and men's track team came in last place with the lowest single-year score at 948.
