Receiver Kolbi Fuqua has left the Tigers football program, an Auburn team spokesperson confirmed to The Plainsman on Monday morning.
The Athletic's Justin Ferguson first reported the news.
Fuqua, a former three-star prospect in Auburn's 2018 recruiting class, appeared in just one outing for Auburn last season, and he finishes his Auburn career with no recorded stats.
A 6-foot-1, 210-pound receiver from Cordova, Alabama, Fuqua reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal in April before pulling his name from the database earlier this month.
Per NCAA rules, coaches reserve the right to strip a scholarship from players who enter the portal.
The Tigers retroactively made up for the loss Saturday by signing 6-foot-4 grad transfer receiver Zach Farrar.
