Another National Signing Day has come and gone, but it is never too early to look ahead to the future.

The 2021 class has a chance to be another big one for the Tigers, Auburn currently has three commitments in the 2021 class, including one 5-star according to the 247Sports Composite. Let's take a look at the 2021 commits and top targets for next year.

Commits

5-star DT Lee Hunter: Hunter is big, athletic defensive tackle that plays light on his his feet and has great closing speed. Even while nearing 300 pounds, Hunter still has room to fill in his frame.

4* Armoni Goodwin (RB, 5-8, 190; Hewitt-Trussville; Trussville, AL.): Tank will be Cadillac's first recruit on campus but Goodwin was his first commit. Goodwin has a very compact build build with a strong lower body and great top-end speed. Running 11 seconds on the 100-yard dash. He suffered a ACL injury last season but expect a bounce back.

3* Phillip O'Brien Jr. (S, 6-2, 190; Deerfield Beach; Deerfield Beach, FL.): Auburn's most recent commit to the 2021 class, O'Brien Jr. is a guy with amazing speed that could play either safety or cornerback.

Offensive Targets:

5* Tommy Brockermeyer (OT, 6-2.25, 283; All Saints Episcopal; Fort Worth, TX.): This big-framed offensive tackle was recently at Auburn. Brockermeyer shows great measurables and football IQ to be an NFL tackle. Auburn seems to be behind Alabama and Texas at the moment but still in his top group.

5* Amarius Mims (OT, 6-7.5, 315; Bleckley County; Cochran, GA.): Mims has visited Auburn three times already and was in town last weekend. Possessing elite size and length Mims will be one to keep an eye on.

4* James Brockermeyer (OC, 6-3, 273; All Saints Episcopal; Fort Worth, TX.): Brother of Tommy Brockermeyer, he has also visited Auburn with his brother. Brockermeyer appears to be Auburn's top center target.

4* Micah Morris (OT, 6-4, 316; Camden County; Kingsland, GA.): Extremely strong offensive tackle with long arms, this appears to be a Auburn-Georgia battle. He delayed his commitment which was supposed to be late last year.

4* Julian Nixon (WR, 6-4, 205; Centennial; Roswell, GA.): Nixon is a lengthy, tall receiver who shows great athleticism. Auburn appears to be the favorite at the moment.

4* Cody Brown (RB, 6-0, 210; Parkview; Lilburn, GA.): A runningback that recently visited Auburn, Brown is a strong back that can run between the tackles.

4* Lovasea Carroll (RB, 6-0.5, 189; IMG Academy; Bradenton, FL.): Auburn made Carroll's top group recently and seems to be a factor. Carroll show quickness between tackles and in open space.

3* Caleb Johnson(OT, 6-7, 295; Trinity Catholic; Ocala, FL.): Johnson is an offensive tackle that shows great frame and power. Auburn has appeared to be the favorite after offering early. His stock is rising with a recent offer from Alabama.

Defensive Targets:

5* James Williams (S, 6-5, 218; Western; Fort Lauderdale, FL.): Williams is a safety target that shows incredible size and zone awareness. Physically imposing on the defensive side of the ball, this seems to be a Auburn-Georgia battle.

5* Ga'Quincy "Koolaid" McKinstry (CB, 5-11.5, 172; Pinson Valley; Pinson, AL.): McKinstry is a former teammate of current Auburn quarterback Bo Nix and a two-sport athlete. Auburn has offered him in both football and basketball which could be a major factor in his recruitment. Auburn, Clemson and Alabama are standouts in his recruitment.

5* Dylan Brooks (WDE, 6-5, 230; Handley; Roanoke, AL.): A tall, rangy defensive end who is good at the point of attack. This childhood Auburn fan is related to former Auburn standout Jeris McIntyre. Auburn appears to be the favorite here.

4* Terrence Lewis (OLB, 6-1, 195; Chaminade-Madonna Prep; Hollywood, FL.): Lewis is an aggressive, muscular defender who shows great physicality. His top teams seem to change constantly with Florida as a constant standout in his recruitment. Lewis will be releasing a top-3 on February 15 and Auburn has a chance to be on it.

4* Barrett Carter (OLB, 6-1, 210; North Gwinnett; Suwanee, GA.): Arguably Auburn's top target at linebacker, Carter visited Auburn last weekend and seems to be a factor. Strong, athletic kid who contribute immediately wherever he ends up at.

4* Jeremiah Williams (WDE, 6-4, 220; Ramsay; Birmingham, AL.): An in-state standout who shows great power and athleticism. This appears to be a in-state battle between Auburn and Alabama.

The month of February after signing day is a dead period so there will not be any contact with recruits for a while. Once the dead period end coaches will be back at it evaluating, calling, and visiting players.
