Auburn has a new addition to its roster, this time with 4-star wide receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr. hopping onboard.

From Alexandria, Virginia, Johnson is the No. 36 wide receiver in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports. 

Johnson won’t be in the class of 2021, along with his commitment he announced he would be reclassifying to the class of 2020 and enrolling at Auburn next week.

Johnson becomes the fifth wide receiver in Auburn’s 2020 recruiting class, joining Kobe Hudson, Ze’Vian Capers, J.J. Evans and Elijah Canion.

 According to 247Sports composite rankings, Johnson, Hudson, Capers and Evans are all 4-star recruits, while Canion is a 3-star.

At wide receiver, Auburn has Seth Williams, Eli Stove, Anthony Schwartz and Shedrick Jackson as the veterans, joined by the five freshmen along with redshirt freshman Ja’Varrius Johnson and transfer Caylin Newton.
