On Monday, March 15, Auburn Student Financial Services sent out an email and application for potential recipients of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.

Auburn University has been awarded $7.8 million in emergency student funding from the U.S. Department of Education through HEERF II.

“Possible recipients must submit the application, be currently enrolled at Auburn for spring 2021, and have a completed 2020-2021 FAFSA on file with a calculated Expected Family Contribution,” the email stated.

HEERF II funding will not be available for international students who are not U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. Funding is limited and students with exceptional need, as determined by the 2020-2021 FASFA, are prioritized.
