Behind a 60-10 opening night victory against Akron, the Auburn Tigers have been ranked No. 25 in the nation in the most recent AP Poll.

Quarterback Bo Nix had one of his best performances in his three years on the Plains against the Zips last Saturday. Nix had almost 300 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while posting a quarterback rating of 240.

Running back Tank Bigsby had two scores and the Auburn defense limited Akron's run game to -3 rushing yards on the night.

A handful of teams in the Top-25 lost their openers making room for Auburn to climb the ladder, including UNC, Wisconsin, Miami, Clemson, LSU and Wisconsin among others.

The now ranked Tigers will face Alabama State at home on Saturday, at 11 a.m. CT. on the SEC Network.
