Fresh off its first win in nearly a year, Auburn will try to make it two-in-a-row on Sunday when it travels to Georgia Tech.
It's no easy task, seeing that Georgia Tech is No. 18 in the nation.
Auburn has not defeated a ranked opponent since Feb. 14, 2016, when it took down No. 16 Florida 80-58. The last time that Auburn won a road contest against a ranked team was two years prior, on Feb. 13, 2014, against Vanderbilt.
Sunday will mark the second all-time meeting between the Yellow Jackets and the Tigers, with the first occurring in 1997. That game was a 70-41 Auburn victory, also in Atlanta.
The Tiger's offense has struggled this season, but showed improvement against Alabama State by getting off to a hot start and finishing the game with their most productive quarter of the season.
Auburn's offense is led by Honesty Scott-Grayson, a returning player who has been the Tigers' biggest threat on the court. Scott-Grayson averages 14-points per game and should be relied on heavily during Sunday's game.
The game will begin at 3 p.m. CST from McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta and will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
