The powerhouses of retail around the college aged-target
market- Zara, Nordstrom and Topshop are known for their allegiance to trends.
For us shopaholics out there, this can be used to our advantage. Scrolling
through any of these retailer’s websites or social media platforms there are
tons of sneak peeks into trends for the season and how people will be wearing
them. A way to stay fashion forward, but price conscious, is by looking to
these through the lens of inspiration instead of the incentive to buy. Then,
after conducting some research, you can head back to your own closet, thrift
stores or other affordable retailers, and re-create some of the looks to add
your own twist.

It’s official, “closing time’’ is just around the corner and
students will be waving goodbye to another school year in a short few weeks. With
move-out comes the most dreaded and daunting task- packing. Although methods of
transporting your belongings vary depending your distance home, the task is
still overwhelming.

dear to many. Today, many filmmakers are turning to stories relayed
through books as the foundation for their new movie masterpieces. What people
often forget is although reading may take more time than watching the film, it
lets you in on more of the details of the story and essentially serves as a
backstage pass to view the plot before it hits the screen.

With temperatures climbing and summer on the way, the urge to get out in the sun is higher than ever. Although a spring break spent at the beach gives you a taste of summer like no other, weekends spent outside are a great adventure break from school to keep you motivated the last couple weeks. The perfect way to enjoy the spring weather, and get in a workout at while you’re at it, is going on a hike.

suits. Difficult to find, but coveted once the perfect one is discovered,

The question of choice for passengers and a nuisance to
drivers, “are we there yet?” epitomizes the family holiday road trip. Whether
visiting friends, family or heading to a vacation spot, people across the
country pack up and hit the roads during the holiday season. The image of a
family squished into two rows of seats filled to the top with over-packed
suitcases, gifts, snacks and maybe even a pet or two is all too familiar. With hardly enough room to breathe, the car ride can be
either a time to bond, break or a just a bore. Although the destination may be
enough to push some people through, it can present a daunting mission for
others. For those who love the company, but maybe not for 8 hours straight kind
of thing, a long car ride is no holiday treat.
