Words that have not been uttered since a gut-wrenching loss in Tuscaloosa closed the 2024 season. After 272 long days full of practice, predictions, and hope, the anticipation will finally end Friday night under the lights in Waco, Texas. Auburn football is back.

Auburn to retire Cam Newton's No. 2 jersey

After 15 years, Auburn Athletics will retire 2010 Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton’s No. 2 jersey. The retirement ceremony will take place on October 11 during the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry at Jordan-Hare Stadium, when the Tigers will take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

All eyes forward on The Plains: New 'state-of-the-art' videoboard to light up Jordan-Hare in 2025

It's a new era on The Plains, as the brand new north endzone videoboard is set to make its debut this September inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Breaking ground in the summer of 2024, the $25.7 million addition will replace the previous scoreboard, built in 1987, and compliment the existing south endzone videoboard, which is the largest videoboard in college football.
