KT Harrell hit a 3-pointer with less than one minute to play and Auburn (12-13, 4-8 SEC) hit four of its final six free throws to close out a 69-68 comeback victory over the Georgia Bulldogs (16-8, 7-5 SEC) in Athens, Georgia.
Harrell finished with 21 points on 7 of 13 shooting, while point guard K.C. Ross-Miller contributed 17 points in the win.
The Tigers led 29-28 at the half after Harrell hit a jumper as time expired.
Auburn trailed for much of the second half, falling behind by as many as nine points, but a late push led by Harrell and Ross-Miller helped thrust the Tigers back into the lead. Free throws from Harrell, Malcolm Canada and Antoine Mason helped Auburn close out the game.
With starting point guard Tahj Shamsid-Deen out for the season because of repeated shoulder injuries, Ross-Miller stepped up in his second consecutive game. The senior guard scored 21 points in the Tigers' midweek loss to Arkansas.
Mason, whose status for the game was uncertain because his father is in the hospital, scored nine points off the bench.
The Tigers will return home to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide (15-9, 5-6 SEC) on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
