The Tigers fall short in their first game of the SEC tournament in Hoover by a score of 3-2 to the 14 seed Texas A&M Aggies. The Aggies talented roster of pitchers held the generally potent Auburn offense to just two runs on six hits, four walks, and two homers. The Tigers fell victim to a series of untimely events as they outhit the Aggies by two while also having more walks and homers throughout the game.

At Auburn University’s Yarborough Tennis Courts, tennis balls zip around all day long. But not every ball comes off a racket—some are launched by a robot constructed just minutes away. Tennibot, founded by Auburn University graduates and still based on the Plains, conducts much of its product testing on the courts. Although Tennibot remains local, its challenges have become increasingly global as the company navigates a rapidly changing tariff landscape and complex international legal disputes. Despite the worldwide market headwinds it faces, Tennibot sees itself becoming integral to the lives of millions of tennis and pickleball players.

A week ago, the No. 6 Auburn Tigers were lighting up the scoreboard in their opener against South Carolina. Now, they were unable to get a runner to cross home plate for eight innings. The Tigers were upset by No. 22 Ole Miss in Thursday night's series opener, 9-2.
