With the exception of service animals, the only pet allowed in University dorms is fish that can be kept in a tank of 20 gallons or less. However, fish may not be the only pet found in on-campus residence halls. Despite the rules, some Auburn students cannot stick to a scaly, water-breathing friend.

A closer look at the T-shirt and Nike shorts phenomenon

To the untrained eye, many women on campus may look more prepared for the gym than for a day of class. An oversized T-shirt paired with Nike shorts or yoga pants is the go-to outfit for thousands of Auburn students, and the athleisure trend (a style where workout clothes are worn in non-exercise settings) doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Greek life networking app strives to connect greeks nationally

GoGreekNow, an app founded by Sigma Chi fraternity brothers from Iowa State University, strives to be an “all-encompassing, one-stop shop” for Greek life across the country, according to co-founder Mark Hagen. Hagen and Nick Scott, who were roommates and good friends in college, began developing GoGreekNow in fall 2014 and officially launched the app in April 2015. Living in different cities after college, Scott said he and Hagen kept in touch.
