Kevin Brown, co-founder of Chicken Salad Chick, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, after an approximately two-year battle with cancer, according to a post on the company's Facebook page.

"And we know they're going to eat it here." Stephney said the chain chose Toomer's Corner specifically because of the history.

"In the past the Agriculture department has always had a spring catfish fry," said Auburn University Young Farmers chairman Drew Wendland. "AUYF normally teams up with them for that but this year we thought why not try and host one in the fall too?"
