Spring Villa Mansion continues local haunting legends

Jeff Pokorney thumbed through his set of keys to unlock the thick padlock keeping the doors to Spring Villa Mansion closed to the public. The front of the house facing the street doesn't have electricity, but the dim streetlight from the back gives just enough light to see through the windows of the allegedly haunted house.

Freshman Alexa Wishard takes aim at collegiate hockey

Jurors view surveillance footage from the night of the University Heights shooting

Surveillance footage from the University Heights shooting was shown to jurors on Monday, Sept. 29, in the Desmonte Leonard murder trial. Jurors viewed footage from the night of June 9, 2012 of a group of party goers scatter and run apparently due to gunshots being fired at them. The video was the same one showed at a preliminary hearing on July 11, 2012, and showed Eric Mack and John Robertson fall to the ground then help each other up and walk out of view. However, the video did not show the shooter.

Offense will try to avoid slow start against LSU
