Somersaulting into a new fall semester is Auburn University's new women's gymnastics coach Jeff Graba, who arrived in Auburn last week.Graba was named women's gymnastics coach by Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs in early August.

Free food and tickets at BBQ

With the start of basketball season just a few months away, first year coach Tony Barbee wanted to let students know how important they are to the program.Roughly 800 students showed up for free barbecue while Barbee announced tickets for all 1,500 seats in the student section will be free for the season.

SEC Media Days Sheds Light on Upcoming Football Season

Members of print, radio and television media, as well as members of the Auburn faithful, flocked to see football head coach Gene Chizik at SEC Media Days Friday.Senior linebacker Josh Bynes, senior defensive back Aairon Savage and senior offensive lineman Lee Ziemba also attended the event, held at the Winfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala.Coach Chizik answered many questions Friday and he had a positive outlook for this season, but said there was still room for improvement.

Football Players Learn Teambuilding Through Summer Workouts

While many Auburn students are lounging around in a pool and dragging themselves to summer classes, football players are spending their summer intensely preparing for the upcoming season.The team trains Monday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m., for roughly two hours. Highly recruited five-star freshman running back Michael Dyer is practicing alongside a bevy of seasoned athletes, but says he doesn't get intimidated.
