AUDM holds 13th annual dance event

On Saturday, Feb. 17, Auburn University Dance Marathon held its 13th annual dance party to raise support and awareness for a network of children's hospital across the country. This year, the organization raised $356,036.24, a significant increase from 2023.

No classes held in Miller Hall for remainder of semester

Areas of Miller Hall are now open after the building was previously closed on Jan. 12 due to findings of mold in the building, however, classes scheduled to meet in Miller will be moved to alternate classrooms and will meet in those classrooms for the remainder of the spring semester. After initial remediation efforts by the university, Risk Management and Safety will continue to test the air in the building for eight weeks and then periodically following that date.

AUMB reflects on win in "For Whom the Band Tolls"

The stadium lights flashed and flickered across the field, with fans looking onward for an explanation. Suddenly, the Auburn University Marching Band marched forward as the announcer's voice boomed over the stadium, announcing the first song of their Metallica-inspired show, a cover of the band's 1984 classic, "For Whom the Bell Tolls." Performed two times in Jordan-Hare stadium, Auburn's Metallica show won two categories in the competition, For Whom the Band Tolls.
