Auburn point guard Sharife Cooper has been selected to the SEC All-Freshman team, the conference announced on Tuesday. Cooper is just the third freshman to be selected under head coach Bruce Pearl. 

Shelby Lowe named SEC Freshman of the Week

On Monday, Auburn's Shelby Lowe was named SEC Freshman of the Week by the conference after an undefeated pitching performance at the Auburn Invitational. This is the third time this season that an Auburn softball freshman has been awarded this honor.

"The pitching is such a big piece," said head coach Butch Thompson. "That's where most of your scholarships are. That's where games are won and lost. The ability to pitch and finish would have capped off what was a pretty solid ball game we played there until right there at the end. Because it's not like we kicked the ball to give it away. Tigers stay perfect at home with wins against Southeastern Louisiana

The Tigers ended the Auburn Invitational on Saturday with a pair of wins over Southeastern Louisiana to go 5-0 on the weekend.  “Sometimes you’ve got to get your team’s attention, and they turned it on and they didn’t let off the gas pedal,” said head coach Mickey Dean. “We just battle.”

Auburn soccer falls to No. 9 Clemson

“I was really proud of our team today,” Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa said. “We executed our game plan. I thought we did a great job disrupting Clemson, and we created a ton of chances. We just couldn’t find the back of the net.” 

No. 22 Auburn blows out No. 18 Boston College 16-1

After dropping the series opener, Auburn blew out Boston College 16-1 on Saturday. The game quickly titled in favor of the home team when Eagles' pitcher Emmet Sheehan walked three straight batters, followed by a Cam Hill grand slam.

Auburn ends the season on high note with win over Miss. State

On Saturday, Auburn took care of business against Mississippi State for a 78-71 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was head coach Bruce Pearl’s 600th win as a head coach. “I’m truly grateful, Pearl said. “Humbled, blessed -- God has blessed me beyond what I deserve. But I keep score, I do. And 600 is a big number. 700 would be even better.”

Auburn secures season-best score in final meet
