SEC approves return of voluntary athletic activities starting on June 8

On Friday, the SEC has voted and approved the return of voluntary athletic activities starting on June 8. The decision to return will be made at the discretion of each university; Auburn is going to allow athletes in football and men's and women's basketball to return on June 8.

On Wednesday, the NCAA's Division 1 Council voted to approve voluntary athletic activities in football and men's and women's basketball. The optional athletic activities can start on June 1 and run until June 30, as reported by Yahoo's Pete Thamel.
