Schlottman wins Palmetto Amateur

Men's golfer Ben Schlottman won the Palmetto Amateur by two shots by firing a final round of 4-under 66 at the Palmetto Golf Club on Saturday, June 13. The sophomore from Advance, North Carolina, edged Billy Kennerly of Alpharetta, Georgia, with a four round score of 8-under 69-64-73-66—272. “It feels great to win such a prestigious event,” Schlottman said.

Harrell destined to prove himself at NBA level

KT Harrell is no stranger to the being the underdog. He played the role in high school and during his time at Auburn and said he relishes the opportunity to play it again in his transition to the NBA. “One of the things I’ve dealt with my entire life is being overlooked,” Harrell said.

Schlottman named All-American

It was announced Thursday, June 11, Auburn men’s golfer Ben Schlottman was named Golfweek All-America honorable mention, the first freshman in school history to receive All-America honors. Schlottman recorded the fourth-lowest stroke average in program history at 70.96 and also became the first freshman in school history to be named first-team All-SEC.

​Henderson advances to 200m final at NCAA Championships

On Wednesday, June 10, Sophomore Kahlil Henderson qualified for the 200m final as the Auburn track and field team opened competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Henderson recorded a personal-best time of 20.29 to finish sixth in the semifinals.

2016 A-Day Date Released

It was announced Tuesday, June 9, that next year’s A-Day scrimmage will be held Saturday on April 9, 2016. The 2015 spring scrimmage showcased the restructured defense under Will Muschamp and talents to fill open offensive positions, notably securing the starting quarterback, Jeremy Johnson over Tyler Queen and Sean White.
