Free food and tickets at BBQ

With the start of basketball season just a few months away, first year coach Tony Barbee wanted to let students know how important they are to the program.Roughly 800 students showed up for free barbecue while Barbee announced tickets for all 1,500 seats in the student section will be free for the season.

The master plan for Auburn's athletic facilities also includes something frequently discussed among fans of Auburn football: stadium expansion.In October, Auburn hired a company that has created master plans for stadiums to integrate potential upgrades and renovations to Jordan-Hare Stadium with an anticipated future expansion.

Signed football? Check. Women's basketball poster? Check. No, this isn't Christmas in July. It's Auburn's annual Fan Day, a favorite event not only to Auburn fans, but also coaches and athletes."Fan Day is a great event that brings the Auburn Family together and allows fans, student-athletes and coaches to interact with one another," said head football coach Gene Chizik.
