A look inside the final prep for the Mell Classroom Building

Students will be welcomed back this fall with a brand new building, home to state-of-the-art technology; open, interactive classrooms; and tons of new study space. After nearly seven years of work — from initial meetings and design through construction — the $35-million Mell Classroom Academic Building is finally a reality. Twenty-six new classrooms, ranging in capacity from 30 students to more than 70, will be a new home for dozens of liberal arts, education, agriculture and COSAM classes.  A large, open atrium filled with natural lighting greets students.
