Bringing bluegrass to the Plains

Taking place at University Station Motorcoach and RV Resort on May 28 through June 1, the 2014 Bluegrass on the Plains Festival will provide food, workshops and established bluegrass music with Ralph Stanley as the main entertainment. Stanley has been playing bluegrass music for over 68 years.

Nights will be spent in dorms and various hot spots on campus.

Getting to know three Camp War Eagle counselors

Camp War Eagle counselors are some of the first people that incoming Auburn students will be meeting. Lauren Romano, sophomore in elementary education; Jessica Schaus, sophomore in nutrition and dietetics; and Joseph Armour, sophomore in math education, are all going to be Camp War Eagle counselors this summer, and have given The Auburn Plainsman a bit of insight as to who they really are.
