Jay Jacobs, director of athletics; David Benedict, chief operating officer; Rich McGlynn, senior associate athletics director; Scott Duval, former director of baseball operations; and Jeremy Roberts, baseball administrator, are named in the lawsuit. Golloway was dismissed as head baseball coach in September with cause by Athletics Director Jay Jacobs.

Former Auburn running back Tommy Lorino dies
By Emily Shoffit | Sports Editor | May 23Former Auburn running back Tommy Lorino passed away Monday, the university announced in a press release. The former Tiger averaged a 8.44 yards a carry in 1956, was a member of the 1957 national championship team and the undefeated 1958 Tigers. "After that Tennessee game, Coach Jordan never lost confidence in him, his teammates never lost confidence in him, he never lost confidence in himself," said former Auburn athletics director David Housel.
Grier earns All-SEC honors

Auburn's Anfernee Grier was the only Tiger to earn an honor, being named to the second All-SEC and All-Defensive teams. “I’ve been impressed with Anfernee since day one,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said.

The Foley, Alabama native volunteers through Auburn athletics and baseball to visit pediatric hospital patients and has participated in Walking Wednesday to support a local elementary school student battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia, enlisting support from teammates and coaching staff.
