Former Tiger named WNBA All-Star

The WMBA announced late Tuesday night that former Auburn women’s basketball player DeWanna Bonner was named to the the league's Western Conference All-Star Team. Bonner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury, will appear in the 2015 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, July 25, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and will be televised by ABC at 2:30 p.m.

Swimmers compete in Pan Am games in Toronto

Swim team members, Beatriz Travalon, junior in international business minoring in sustainability and Luis Martinez, sophomore in mechanical engineering, qualified to compete in the swimming portion of the Pan American Games in Toronto Tuesday, July 14-Saturday, July 18.

Former Tigers swimmer earns gold at Pan Am Games

 Former Auburn swimmer Marcelo Chierighini helped Brazil to a gold medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay to begin the 2015 Pan Am Games  Tuesday, June 14,  in Toronto.  Chierighini swam as the anchor on the gold medal relay, guiding Brazil to a time of 3:13.66 to set a Pan Am Games record.  The two-time NCAA champion and 17-time All-American posted a blistering 47.76 anchor split to bring home the win.
