The Rotary Lombardi Award Committee released the Watch List for the 2015 Rotary Lombardi Award on Tuesday morning, July 14, including Auburn's Avery Young and Cassanova McKinzy. This award makes two watch list appearances for Young, who is also a contender for the Outland Trophy. McKinzy continues to stack up award nominations as he is also in the running for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and the Chuck Bednarik Award. Eligibility for the Rotary Lombardi Award is limited to down linemen, either on offense or defense. The candidates earned a place on the preliminary Watch List by earning All-American honors, being named to their respective all-conference teams or receiving 2015 pre-season honors. While the Watch List highlights those players who have already received national recognition, any Division 1 player who meets the requirements is eligible for consideration from the Rotary Lombardi Selection Committee. The Rotary Lombardi Watch List containing 145 delegates, intended as a reference tool for the Selection Committee, will be periodically updated and revised through the conclusion of the voting to determine the 12 semi-finalists for 2015. The 46th Rotary Lombardi Award show will be held on Dec.
