When Auburn equestrian head coach Greg Williams traveled up to Ohio to see then high school senior Lucy Igoe in an equestrian competition, he went with the intent of seeing her skills and attempt to recruit her to Auburn's equestrian team. There was just one problem: it was a nighttime show and he still had not seen her compete.

The first half of the opener against Arkansas was a little tougher than most thought it would be, but backups did get their time near the end with Auburn up 45-21. Against a team like San Jose State, those backups should see more time. Here's a list of players I think will have an impact in week two.

OPINION: Making the two-quarterback system work

It's rarely a good sign in modern college football to hear your favorite team is considering a two-quarterback system. It usually means neither quarterback has done enough to win the job outright, such as David Ash and Case McCoy in 2012 at Texas, or each quarterback has a significant weakness that requires the other's complimentary skills, such as Chris Relf and Tyler Russell in 2010 at Mississippi State.

Tigers jump one spot to No. 5 in AP rankings

Auburn jumped from No. 6 to No. 5 on the AP poll to match the Coaches poll ranking from the past two weeks. The Tigers' 45-21 win over SEC rival Arkansas was convincing enough to move them one spot.
