​Time released for 2015 A-Day Kickoff

The Auburn Athletics has released this year’s scrimmage will start at 1 p.m. April 18. The department has not yet released which TV station will air the game, but reports indicate it will most likely be broadcasted on ESPN, SEC Network or CSS. Spring practices will begin March 10 and will be preparing incoming junior quarterback Jeremy Johnson to replace Nick Marshall, as well as top recruits Byron Cowart and Jovon Robinson.

Auburn Pro Day to feature 21 former players

Tuesday, March 3, 21 former Auburn Tigers will have their chance to prove they belong in the NFL at Auburn’s annual Pro Day. Of those 21, seven — including Nick Marshall, who worked out at quarterback and cornerback — attended the NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis last week.

With National Signing Day coming to a close, Auburn received 27 National Letters of Intent, including one from the number one player in the country, defensive end Byron Cowart of Seffner, Florida. With a recruiting class that currently ranks anywhere from No. 3 in the country (Scout.com) to No. 9 (247sports.com), Auburn managed to procure the interests of several high profile recruits across the nation.

Seven Auburn players invited to NFL Combine

The NFL announced the list of 323 former college football players invited to this year's NFL Combine starting February 17th. Among Auburn's exiting players, seven have been selected to attend the Combine, including Nick Marshall, Cameron Artis-Payne, Sammie Coates, Reese Dismukes, Gabe Wright, Jermaine Whitehead and Angelo Blackson.

Byron Cowart saga comes to an end

When Byron Cowart committed to Auburn over Florida on National Signing Day, it seemed that his recruitment had come to a long awaited end. The delay concerned many Auburn fans, thinking Cowart may have been having second thoughts, but head coach Gus Malzahn was never worried.
