When Byron Cowart committed to Auburn over Florida on National Signing Day, it seemed that his recruitment had come to a long awaited end. The delay concerned many Auburn fans, thinking Cowart may have been having second thoughts, but head coach Gus Malzahn was never worried.

The College of Architecture's Rural Studios program is giving impoverished residents of Hale County something to be proud of. Director of Rural Studios Andrew Freear and his team of architecture students have designed and donated $20,000 homes that fit the needs of impoverished people who would otherwise be living in substandard conditions.

UPDATE: Man arrested for the murder of man on Spencer Avenue

Auburn Police Division arrested a man for the murder that occurred Saturday, Feb. 14 on Spencer Avenue. Police discovered the man lying in the road near the 600 block of Spencer Avenue suffering from multiple gunshots wounds, according to a news release issued by the Auburn Police Division.
