Ben Braymer called up by Washington Nationals; becomes second Auburn alum to be called up over past week

A second former Auburn baseball player has gotten his call to the big leagues as pitcher Ben Braymer was called up on Monday by the Washington Nationals. Following his debut, Braymer will be the 53rd former Auburn player to play in the MLB.

Auburn ranked No. 11 in preseason AP Top 25 poll

In the preseason AP Top 25, Auburn is ranked No. 11. The preseason AP Poll includes teams that will not be playing in the fall, but once the season begins, those teams will be dropped from the rankings.

Division 1 Board of Directors approve extra year of eligibility for all fall sport athletes

The NCAA’s Division I Board of Directors voted Friday to approve an additional year of eligibility for all fall sport student-athletes. The board also met to work out a plan to move all fall championships to the spring.

SEC releases fan health and safety guidelines in preparation for a fall sports season
