Professor's book to be produced by Universal

Playing a round of golf at Clint Eastwood’s private golf club, Tehama Golf Club in Carmel, California is a rare opportunity for some, and not even an option for many.  However, playing a round of golf with Eastwood on his own golf course is even more rare. For James Hansen, history professor at Auburn, both of these situations became a reality years back.

Spring break has finally arrived. And students get a break from class to relax and have fun. Spring break is all about unwinding and having a good time — two things that cannot be done without only the best music. I put together a spring break playlist to help get your blood pumping and adrenaline rushing this break, but I also threw in some songs to calm you down and help you relax.

Biggest sports upsets in Auburn history

After more than nine years without beating a ranked opponent, the Auburn men’s basketball team pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Auburn basketball history by defeating No. 14 Kentucky 75-70. In celebration, Auburn forward Cinmeon Bowers could not hold his emotions back as he recognized he had just helped Auburn make history. “It’s crazy, we beat Kentucky.” Bowers said.

Best-selling author to come to Auburn

Tim Dorsey graduated from Auburn in 1983 with a degree in transportation. Fast forward to today, where Dorsey is a New York Times best-selling author, having written 19 books. Dorsey said he knew he wanted to be a writer his sophomore year of high school.

Auburn's nightlife isn't always confined to downtown. I followed Marcus Gulatte, referred to as Aalora DiArmani on stage, as he performed in a classic bar scene on Friday, Feb. 12, and then switched gears to perform for Auburn Spectrum's "What A Drag" charity event, Saturday, Feb. 13.

Auburn grad starring in ABC series

Wynn Everett, who graduated from Auburn in 2000 with a major in communications and minor in theatre, is starring in ABC’s second season of "Agent Carter." While at Auburn, Everett was a very involved student who made the most of her time.
